B570A AI Toolkit for Educators
B371A AI Digital Tools
Synopsis
In this course, you will get hands-on with AI and learn how to use AI to enhance your teaching work.
Technical objective: AI chatbots like ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot analyse and learn to recognise patterns in human language without any help from humans. They are so good at giving answers that sound correct, at giving us the impression that they understand. However, should we trust these AI chatbots? With the right prompt and guardrails, AI chatbots can be an effective partner to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and define engaging and effective lessons for your subjects.
Life skills objective: You will learn to evaluate information from AI critically through fact-checking. By understanding the limitations of AI, you gain practical skills to use AI ethically and responsibly in your work.
