Synopsis

In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of creating 3D models using Tinkercad and learn how to overlay the models onto the real world with AR (Augmented Reality) technology.

Technical objective: Tinkercad is a free, online 3D design and modelling tool. You will learn how to create and manipulate 3D shapes to design objects that can be exported as AR-ready models.

Life skills objective: Designing 3D models requires the ability to visualise concepts into three dimensions. This will challenge and enhance your level of attention to details, this skill is transferable to all aspects of life.

 

Prerequisite

This course is suitable for learners in Upper Primary with a basic command of English and computer skills.

You will require a computer (Windows or Mac) with a mouse and a pair of headphones.
