Synopsis

In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of game design using Scratch

Technical objective: Scratch is a free visual programming tool designed for learning to learn the fundamentals of coding and computer programming in a fun and interactive way. You will learn how to use Scratch to programme sprites and create your very own game.

Life skills objective: Designing your own games is a canvas for your creativity with endless possibilities. However, it also demands meticulous attention to the code you create. When your programme doesn't behave as expected, this is where your troubleshooting skills come into play to identify and resolve bugs.

 

Prerequisite

This course is suitable for learners in Upper Primary with a basic command of English and computer skills.

You will require a computer (Windows or Mac) with a mouse and a pair of headphones.
